This happened couple days ago on the intersection of Bleeker and Carmine. It was something you would see in the movies. I just came off the C train walking out of the Subway and was heading towards Bleeker and Carmine. I suddenly saw brown water flowing out of the ground, and the road rising up and cracking. Nobody knew what was happening, and everyone was just watching. Firefighters and police came to the scene pretty quickly, but I didn't know how they were going to fix something like that. I thought it was pretty awesome how I manage to be at there when it happened. There are many random events happening all the time; you just have to be out walking around to bump into them.
