Jobs
I read recently that the unemployment rate went up some more. Which led me to an interesting thought experiment. As technology improves, there are less and less people doing labor, service, and retail jobs as well.
For example, Red Box are these are closing down Blockbusters and Hollywood Videos everywhere. All the people previously employed at Blockbusters and Hollywood Videos are replaced by Red Boxes. AMT machines decreasing the need for tellers, and U-Scans taking jobs of baggers and cashiers.
I mean if look at the long run implications of these modern technology advancements in the future we'll see less and less people with jobs. These people will need to find other methods of making money from the weathly few or make money from the people who are making money from the weathly few. :)
It seems like more and more people are headed to entertainment industry. Do something entertaining and make money from everyone. Since technology advances, machines are doing the work for everyone. People have more and more time do to leisurely activities rather than working. So they need some sort of entertainment to take up their time.
Imagine if we reach the end of our future (which is like infinity where we'll never reach), people wouldn't need to do anything because theres some sort of machine or technology that does whatever we use to do. Cooking, washing, work, accounting, or any task you consider as chore or annoying. Everyone will just have 24 hours of free time, because there is jobs to do. The only thing people can do for each other entertain. I don't know how money would work by then, we probably wouldn't even use money it would be more of a social communist-like world and people just give points for people who are cool, entertaining, or awesome.
But we'll never reach that perfect world where there is no work, so I predict in the future if you can't do entertainment, you'll be the few that will be working. In a world of 90% entertainers and 10% workers. I'm sure you can feel that we're already headed that way. You fake at work to get people's approval and fake at a job interview, so you can get the job. Its all part of the job of being an entertainer.

Becoming a better person
I was just thinking about something earlier today. What is the difference between becoming a better person and being someone you're not.
For example, you know how some people you look at, and you think man that person is so fake... he is not being himself. What if he was just trying to be a better person. If you're trying to become a better person, of course you are not being yourself, because you're aiming to be someone better. So what makes the difference between the two. Being someone you are not, is very negative while aiming to become a better person is positive. Its like the same thing, but its based on how people view you as.
How do you be the person that looks like he is aiming to become a better person rather than being the person thats fake. I'm just making this up as I go now, I think humbleness is good. Confidence. MOST of it is probably confidence. If I saw someone not very confident doing something it makes them look fake. But a problem occurs when you are being confident about something you are not really good at. When someone knows you are not good at a certain topic, and you pretend to be really good at it then that person will perceive you as fake.
Its like this crazy circle where you have to do this to appear not fake, but if you do this then you are a fake. I read or heard somewhere that the only way to be truly confident is to practice and get better skills at whatever you want to be confident in. I guess in order to become a better person, you have to work on a bunch of skills and practice those skills and then be confident in your skills. Then you won't be a fake.
Or if you don't want to practice you could be a fake and pretend to be confident in everything and trick the world of stupid people but fail to impress the rest of the world.

Nicknames
Nicknames are awesome. Everyone should make nicknames for people. You can promote yourself like how I am known as "The Awesome" or you could secretly talk about someone without them knowing about. Two quick nicknames, I made before is Gary for male homosexual, and Leslie for female homosexual. For example if I was in a crowded street where I sighted a guy wearing a tie-dyed shirt with capris pants I could ask, "is that Gary?" I can ask a friend without being rude by saying gay. Then my friend can be like ya that looks like Gary or, no I don't think that's Gary.
Maybe I could create a company just making nicknames for people. Like people will pay me to think of nicknames, and I could be famous for the guy who makes names for people. My occupation will be Nickname Originator aka NO. Look I'm so good at making names.

Live everyday as if it is your last
Finally figured out the true meaning to that quote. Before I thought it was kind of silly to think like that, because you'll do some things without thinking about the long term consequences. The quote is more about helping you find out what you really want to do in life.
Everyday there are opportunities, like a beautiful girl walking past you or walking by someone you use to know, or just thinking about an old friend and wondering if you should give them a call or message. Most of the time you let the beautiful girl pass you by, and ignore that person you use to know walking by you, and skip that old friend that you haven't talked to in a while.
Next time when an opportunity arise, ask yourself do you want to do this if you were to die tomorrow? If I were to die tomorrow, do I want to meet this beautiful girl today? Do I want to speak with this person from the past. Do I want to talk to my old friend? Its your last chance, your one and only opportunity.
If you answered yes then why wait? Go for it. Sometimes you don't really care about that person, and it be totally fine if I died tomorrow without talking to that fool! :) but other times you do want to meet that beautiful girl so take a chance, because today might be your last.

Rapping/Freestyling
Rapping and Freestyling is pretty awesome. Its like a complicated but powerful way of expressing your feelings, emotions, and ideas. Sometimes I think of witty lines and try to write down some rhymes for a rap. I'm not going to put any up here, because it is probably going be stolen for some song. Yah it is that good :)
What I wanted to talk about is something I found out to make rapping and freestyling easier. In the past, I would try to freestyle, and it would be so hard to even find rhyme words. For a simple demonstration I will use the line, "Ya, I'm so cool" "uh uh something something from school!" I'm so busy thinking about the rhyme its like hard to freestyle anything at all. So instead of thinking of rhyme words, I will think about what to say "Ya I'm so cool" "I got girls with me..."
girls with me = cool right?! haha anyways so my head i'm thinking about what is cool. At the same time I am using my head to visualize all the words that rhymes with cool. "fool, drool, pool, school, toadstool, rule, tool, mule and so on"
So I'm not thinking about these words they're just floating around in my head as I visualize these words, then I can allow space for my brain to think about what to rap about that would work with this list of rhyme words.
"Ya, I'm so cool" "Even got girls wit me in the pool" or "I never follow rules"
whatever it may be.
BTW this is probably the worst line ever because I don't want to showcase any talent which could be stolen from this blog :) also I have to admit I'm horrible at freestyling, but this technique has upgraded my incredibly terrible talent of freestyling to plain bad. Hopefully, it will be good someday.
Anyways, this is my awesome post of the day!
... cause I got nothing else to say :)

Concert
Wondergirls were playing at the Moore Theatre in Seattle yesterday. So when concerts ends... there is an encore thing, where the performer come out and does another song or performance. But is it really an encore when its already preplanned? Like it was a premediated encore song. They make the audience yell and scream their name and ask for more. Minutes later they come out wearing a totally new outfit thats set for that song they were already planning to performi. I think that's kind of silly, it is not a real encore because they're suppose to be spontaneous. Encores should be there only when crowd wants more. When its so premediated makes people want to not ask for an encore... It is sort of silly.
Anyways I think it would be awesome if a large crowd of people ask for an encore and the performer who did not expect the encore, does a spontaneous performance, even if its the same song, or sing something new that the performer was not expecting to perform.

If I were a Blogger
Weird so while I was doing my last post about approachability, my last sentence lead me to an interesting discovery. I didn't know if I was suppose to use "If everybody was" or "If everybody were".
I found this website
http://www.sew-wrc.com/idea-motivator/2007/02/09/grammar-rules-if-i-was-or-if-i-were/
The rule is if the subject is not what you are saying then you should use were. If you don't know if the subject is or is not what you are saying then use was. I think most people are unaware of this rule. So now its like I know something most people don't... and I wonder if other bloggers are trying to be be more grammatically correct like I am when they are writing their blogs. Anyways heres a video to help you remember this rule weird grammar rule...
Fiddler on the Roof "If I were a Rich Man" go watch 5:15 that part is awesome. Fist throwing dance :)

Approachability
I was talking to a friend online today, and I just came to think about approachability, the ability to be approached, the state of being approachable. Thats my defnition for approachability and approachable = invitingly friendly: friendly and easy to talk to. I was just rambling on about how being approachable is such a good trait, in fact it is the best trait a girl can have in my opinion.
For girls who are wondering why aren't guys approaching me and hitting on me is it because i'm fat or ugly or not slutty enough? Its probably because you're not very approachable thus guys aren't approaching you. Simple eh?
Of course if you were the world's hottest girl would get approached all the time, but can you be the world's hottest girl forever? I'm not saying looks doesn't matter of course it matters a lot, but when theres two hot girls in the room the difference between getting hit on or not is your approachability.
Sometimes is just simple things like body language, smiles, and the aura of a person that reflects their approachability. For the lesser intelligent human beings, it might be as simple as how slutty a girl is dressed which is probably why the slutty girls get approached more often than the less slutty girls. Anyways, it be awesome if everyone were more approachable. :)

Toy Story 3
I saw toy story 3 this morning. It was awesome! At first, I was like man why was this so hyped... I mean its okay, but then when it got to the end of the movie I found out why.
*Spoiler Alert HUGE Spoiler*
Don't read unless you seen the movie because this is going to ruin the best part for you. The epic scene in the movie that made the movie awesome was at the junkyard when everyone was about to burn. They made that scene so emotional. When I was watching the scene, it was like I knew these toys, as if they were my friends. I know their personalities and the type of responses I would get if I asked Woody or Buzz Lightyear a question. No matter what happened in the past these toys never gave up. At this scene the toys are in a situation where there is no way out... nothing can save them... they finally give in and give up... and are about to die together as a family holding hands. Of course you know they're not going to burn and die, because it wouldn't make a good ending for a kids movie. So you know they have to escape or be saved somehow, but yet the scene was so well done even though I logically knew in my head they would not die, emotionally my heart was telling me "omg they're going to die!" When they get saved by the 3 alien guys who worships the claw. Right at that moment, it was like happiness knowing your friends aren't going to burn :) and they make you laugh too because you see the 3 alien guys saying "the claw" which is their # 1 line next to #2 line "you saved us, we are eternally grateful." Extremely emotions from despair and sadness to happiness and humor.
*Spoiler Over*
So anyways the point I was trying to get to was that those characters were really well done. They could probably make a toy story 4 and make money off of it. Theres new toys and Woody still needs a girl seems like other toy character has a significant other. I hope they bring back Bo, RC, and Lenny the binocular... Its kind of like Jessie and Bullseye took Bo and RC's spot... and then instead of Lenny the binocular they just used Mr. and Mrs. Potato eyes... they should have at least give them a cameo appearance in the end of toy story 3. Bo, RC, and Lenny were such big characters in the previous Toy Stories.
Ya, Toy Story 3 was awesome going to buy it when it comes out since I have 1 and 2.

Isner–Mahut match
Yesterday ended the longest tennis match... I don't think you don't know how awesome it really is unless you play tennis.
To find someone so closely matched with you and both of you playing so hard, yet unable beat the other person. It must suck to be Mahut though, being in the longest match ever and then losing in the end... I wonder if he had the choice to choose between winning the match in the 4th set, or lose the match at the 138th game in the 5th set... what would he pick? Is being the winner of an unimportant match better or the loser of a very important match? I'm pretty sure the latter is better since at least I know his name now. If he won during the 4th set not as many people would know him and hes notorious now for being the guy who lost the longest match ever in Wimbledon, the biggest tennis event.
Anyways, sports is awesome especially when you have a good game.

Inspiration
Ya I decided to change my blog, it was too much work to keep finding awesome things. I also thought it was too much trouble to blog awesome things. So i'll just blog about whatever the heck I want now.
Right now I'm listening to Rap music. Seems like my super favorite raps are always inspirational. Raps that inspire you to work harder, do more, take that opportunity and make it go far. For example, Fort Minor: Remember the Name, Eminem Lose Yourself, and Eminem's verse in Airplanes Part 2 B.o.B Feat. Hayley Williams. I'm sure theres other songs I can't think of at the moment, but these three songs come to my mind.
Anyways, I also been listening to some commencement speeches like Steve Jobs speech at Stanford. I notice a highly similarity in those raps and in commencement speeches. Steve Jobs tells his life story and then inspires graduates to do more, work harder, and take opportunity. If you haven't heard it go hear it.
I just like stuff that motivates me and inspire me to do more I guess.

How To Train Your Dragon!
Ya so haven't updated this for a while... Kind of forgot about it. I wanted to talk about stuff and then I didn't want everyone know about or most people I know anyways. So, I decided I would just post here! Today I woke up early and watched Alice in Wonderland in IMAX theater with my sister and her family. So my niece and nephew were the main reason we were watching this movie.
Anyways I thought the movie was really good. I wasn't expecting it was probably why it was so good. It was more like a sequel rather than a remake. But it had some good messages, and it was funny at parts.
Also while I was watching Alice in Wonderland there was this crazy awesome preview I saw. Its a Dreamworks animation movie called How to Train Your Dragon. I thought it was awesome cause for the longest time I was thinking what would be the next big hit. There was Ninjas, Robots, Pirates, Witches/Warlocks, Vampires, etc. It totally past my mind, Dragon Tamers. I mean Vikings aren't that awesome to me anyways. But DRAGON TAMERS are AWESOME!
Who wouldn't want a dragon for a pet!?
